Our Strength Classes

Our strength classes are centred around the water rower, for a high-intensity, low-impact workout guaranteed to boost your metabolism, build muscle tone and improve your fitness. We have three signature programmes (Upper Body, Lower Body and Full Body). Read more about each one below.

Upper Body

Upper Body

This high energy class will challenge your entire upper body, using a range of weighted exercises. We also focus on strengthening the core, which underpins our every movement, to enhance balance and stability – incredibly important for all movements in your day-to-day life. Strengthening these muscles is crucial to combat problems such as lower back pain and poor posture.

Lower Body

During these sessions, we turn our attention to the muscles that make up the lower half of our body. As well as the quads and the hamstrings, we also focus on the glutes, which are the body’s largest and strongest muscle group, which is one of the reasons why we recommend training lower body at least twice a week. Strengthening your lower body is an absolute must if you’re looking to get stronger, as it helps to build a stable base, improve posture and really drive your performance in the gym.

Full body

Our full body workout targets muscles in the lower body, upper body and core. The class structure incorporates intense bursts of rowing with weighted exercises to really get your heart pumping and fire up your metabolism. Intelligently-placed isolation exercises complement compound movements, to make sure that your entire body is put through its paces.
